Rail Bus crash 1983

This photo is taken of the railbus crash that happened in 1983. It collided with a log truck. It was a very sad time in Yekepa as my father's friend Stewart Beenet was driving - he lost half of his face and they had to rebuild his ear again. Also the track inspector Ken Tailor was in the front next to the driver - he was killed straight away. My father (Malcolm Pratt) was the only other train driver in Buchanan at the time. The crash site was nearer there than Nimba so he had to identify the body. Very sad. It shook the whole town up.
